The ASEM Network of MOOCs Initiative helps partners to cooperate in developing MOOC content. Co-development, mutual use of quality MOOC content, and content exchanges among ASEM partners are all expected to result from this project. With online lecture content containing unique ASEM features and the usage of other partners’ content, regardless of educational and cultural background, it is possible to enhance mutual understanding across Asia and Europe, as well as ASEM itself, and cultivate global citizenship and skills for the 21st century.
